This workshop is suitable for absolute beginners.
It is an introductory one day workshop into
using a sewing machine.
In this workshop you will learn how to:

Set up a sewing machine
•
Recognise the difference parts
of the machine
•
Choose and insert the correct
needle
•
Thread the machine
•
Wind the bobbin and set it in
the machine
• Guide the fabric when sewing
•
Sew simple seams
•
Sew darts
•
Shorten jean hems
•
Neaten seam edges
Things to bring:
You will not need to bring anything to this
workshop but you may bring your own sewing
machine if you wish to learn on this.

All courses take place
at Unit K103, The Biscuit Factory, Tower Bridge
Business Complex, 100 Clements Road, London,
SE16 4DG. The nearest tube station is Bermondsey
on the Jubilee line.
Booking Terms:
All bookings must be paid
for in full at time of booking. If you
do not wish to pay online, then you may do
so by sending a cheque. Your place will
not be confirmed until the cheque has been
received and payment cleared. Please
contact us should you wish to pay by this
method.
All fees are non-refundable
in the event that you are unable to attend.
You may however be transferred onto another
course or to the same course on a different
date (subject to places being available).
Classes are limited to
10 students and at least 3 students are needed
to make a class. In the event of under-subscription,
classes may be cancelled or postponed.
We will give you as much notice as possible
should this happen and you will be able to
transfer to another course or a receive full
refund. We will not be held liable for
any out-of-pocket expenses incurred as a result.
