To enrol on this course you
must be able to use a sewing machine and be familiar
with seam construction and have some practice
in sewing in a straight line. If you do not have
these skills, please complete the sewing
machine basics workshop before applying for
this course.
This workshop aims to develop
your sewing skills using a variety of techniques
used to construct most garments. This is
a practical course in which you will learn how
to:

sew piped seams
•
sew gathers
•
Insert a concealed zip
•
Insert a fly faced zip
•
Make buttonholes
•
Finish hems and edges
You will take home samples
of the above for reference.
Things you will need:
Shears/fabric scissors, tape measure, small sharp
pointed scissors, pins, tailors chalk and a seam
ripper. Don't worry if you haven't got everything
on the list, we may be able to provide some.

All courses take place at Unit
K103, The Biscuit Factory, Tower Bridge Business
Complex, 100 Clements Road, London, SE16 4DG.

Booking Terms:
All bookings must be paid for
in full at time of booking. If you do not
wish to pay online, then you may do so by sending
a cheque. Your place will not be confirmed
until the cheque has been received and payment
cleared. Please contact us should you wish
to pay by this method.
All fees are non-refundable
in the event that you are unable to attend.
You may however be transferred onto another course
or to the same course on a different date (subject
to places being available).
Classes are limited to 10 students
and at least 3 students are needed to make a class.
In the event of under-subscription, classes may
be cancelled or postponed. We will give
you as much notice as possible should this happen
and you will be able to transfer to another
course or a receive full refund. We will
not be held liable for any out-of-pocket expenses
incurred as a result.
